About Our Campaign

Hello, we are Jordan and Michelle Richardson and God has called us to adopt. In March of 2004 we were married and wanted to have children right away. With Jordan being in the military, deployment schedules seemed to make that difficult. In late 2008 we became pregnant, and at 12 weeks lost our child. After another lost pregnancy in 2009, we began thinking about adoption. In 2010 we began treatment at our local military hospital for infertility, unsuccessfully. In 2011 we moved to Japan. At the time, we knew that God was calling us to Japan, but we didn't know why. Still thinking on adoption, we continued to pray.  In February 2013 we decided to restart our infertility treatments, and we prayed that God would give us a clear answer for the path he was guiding us towards. We did 4 IUI's- unsuccessfully. We prayed to God, again asking clarity for our path.   In June we were blessed with the opportunity to do IVF! We became pregnant, sadly we lost our little girl. We continued to pray, God, do you want us to pursue adoption? In November we went back to the doctor to try IVF again, to find out we had 2 frozen embryos! We prayed for clarity, Gods guidance. Our Frozen transfer failed. We prayed, and received clarity. Our amazing God sent us to Japan so that we may understand his plan for us- to show His love through adoption.  We are in the very beginning stages of this process, we are about to start our homestudy.  At nearly 10 years of marriage we yearn to provide a loving home for a child, unfortunately cost is an issue. The average cost of adoption is around 40,000$. Please help us achieve our goal.
